How to Add a New User
Adding users to your company workspace ensures the right people have access to your cap table, equity plans, and other sensitive data- with the appropriate permission level.
By providing access, you are able to easily share data with your relevant stakeholders (VCs, Lawyer, external CFO and others) ensuring one source of truth alignment.
Who can do this?
Only users with Admin permissions can invite or manage other users.
Adding a New User- Step-by-step:
- Go to Settings → Users & Permissions
- Click + Add New User
- Enter user details:
- Full Name
- Email Address
- Relationship
- Set permission levels for each module:
- Viewer – Read-only access
- Editor – Can make changes
- No Access – No access to the module
- Select which modules the user can access
- Click Add New User
- The user will receive an invitation email to join your company account.
How to Edit User Permissions
You can update a user’s permissions at any time:
- Go to Settings → Users & Permissions
- Locate the relevant user
- Click the module icon next to their name
- Select the updated permission level (Viewer / Editor / No Access)
Pro Tips
- For investors or board members, assign Viewer access
- Before sharing the cap table externally, make sure it is published
