You can issue SAFEs and CLAs directly from a shareholder’s profile. Each transaction type dynamically adjusts the required fields to ensure accurate data entry.

How to Add a Transaction
- Open the relevant shareholder profile
- Scroll to the Transactions section
- Click Add Transaction
How to Add a SAFE Transaction
- Click Add Transaction → Issue → SAFE
- Enter the key agreement terms:
- Date – Signing date of the agreement
- Principal – Investment amount
- Discount – Conversion discount rate (if applicable)
- Valuation Cap – Conversion cap (if applicable)
- Click Save
Once saved, the SAFE will:
- Appear under the shareholder’s Transactions
- Be reflected in the cap table
To Edit a SAFE Transaction
- Locate the SAFE transaction in the shareholder’s card
- Click Edit
- Update the relevant details
- Click Save
How to Add a CLA Transaction
- Click Add Transaction → Issue → CLA
- Enter the key agreement terms:
- Date – Signing date of the agreement
- Principal – Investment amount
- Maturity Date – Loan repayment date
- Discount – Conversion discount rate (if applicable)
- Valuation Cap – Conversion cap (if applicable)
- Interest – Interest rate (if applicable)
- Click Save
Once saved, the CLA will:
- Appear under the shareholder’s Transactions
- Be reflected in the cap table
To Edit a CLA Transaction
- Locate the CLA transaction in the shareholder’s card
- Click Edit
- Update the relevant agreement details
- Click Save
Note: SAFE and CLA transactions are automatically reflected in your cap table, ensuring all convertible instruments are accurately tracked and up to date.
